HR Support Apprenticeship at Harvey Norman UK Trading Lt

Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination. Help onboard new employees, ensuring they have a smooth and welcoming experience. Maintain and update employee records and HR databases. Provide support in training and development programs, including scheduling and tracking attendance. Assist with payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Help with employee engagement activities and ensure a positive employee experience. Support the HR team in managing employee relations and resolving workplace issues. Assist with compliance checks, including adherence to health and safety regulations and labour laws. Participate in performance management processes and support managers with performance reviews. Assist with the preparation of HR reports and documentation.

Key Requirements:

A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources within the retail industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of HR practices is advantageous but not essential. Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus. A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Qualifications:

Enrolled or intending to enrol in a relevant HR qualification (such as a Certificate IV in Human Resources or similar). Previous experience in retail or HR-related roles is desirable but not essential.

Training:
The successful candidate will obtain a Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship standard qualification

Training Outcome:
Potential full-time employment for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5.00pm, with a 1 hour lunch break.
