This business has a vast range of experience and specialist knowledge in the Steel sector, with specific market leading competency in the following areas:

* Customised Machines & Equipment

They are now on the lookout for a suitability qualified and Sales Manager (Director Designate) to join their team in Doncaster

Job Description:

They are seeking an experienced sales manager to support their business growth and diversification ambitions through their own skill and the leadership of a team of multicultural sales representatives and agents.

The ideal sales manager has in-depth knowledge of and experience with the sales process of technical products and services to the hot process, refractory/ceramic/engineering industries, excelling at value creation, relationship building, and closing deals.

They are seeking a person with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others.

The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise and motivate the sales force.

The Role:

Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and projecting future performance.

Represent the company, with a comprehensive understanding of their products and services.

Create and execute strategic marketing & sales plans that expand customer base and extend global reach.

Research customer needs and identify how their solutions meet them.

Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs and opportunities.

Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics.

Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfil them

Qualifications & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or business administration subject
* 5+ years in sales management within an industrial setting
* Proven track record of international success in sales & marketing
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Superb leadership ability
* Ability to travel significantly

Advantageous Experience:

* Experience in steel/foundry industry or other hot metal environments.
* Experience in the sales and marketing of high-performance refractories or ceramics.
* Ability to communicate in foreign languages
