About the Role
A leading AI services provider is seeking an experienced Vice President of Business Development to spearhead growth in the Hi-Tech vertical. This executive role focuses on driving market expansion by engaging with top-tier prospects and identifying high-value opportunities to secure substantial, multi-million-dollar deals. Operating remotely, the candidate must reside on the West Coast of the United States and will play a pivotal role in shaping the business’s success within the Hi-Tech sector.
The VP of Business Development will manage the end-to-end process of identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This role will focus on fostering relationships with the next wave of ideal Tier 1 customers and translating those into measurable growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, extensive experience in enterprise technology solutions, and a proven track record of generating results.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Hi-Tech vertical, targeting the next 10-20 Tier 1 prospectsDevelop and execute strategies to fast-track multi-million-dollar opportunities, maintaining a robust sales pipelineCollaborate with internal teams, including sales, growth, and go-to-market (GTM) teams, to craft compelling offerings and align on key targetsDrive engagement with stakeholders and decision-makers, ensuring readiness for contracts and executive connections to accelerate opportunitiesAct as a trusted advisor for prospective clients, leveraging expertise in data science, AI, and enterprise technologyLead innovation sales by implementing tools and methods to maintain a competitive edgeMonitor and analyze market trends, utilizing sales analytics and CRM tools to guide decision-making and optimize performanceEstablish and nurture executive-level relationships to foster trust and long-term collaborationSupport the organization’s entry into global conglomerates and accelerate growth in the West Coast regionKey Competencies:
