Gymnastics Coach Apprentice
Assisting in the coaching of gymnasts and cheerleaders
Ensuring the gym and apparatus are clean and in a safe working condition
Taking class registers and administration for competitions, events, uniform orders, memberships, etc.. There will also be administrative tasks to help with the running of the sessions and the club in general. This will involve working with other coaches and the gym management team.
Contributing to session planning and scheduling
Liaison with 3rd party contractors and suppliers
In addition, the role requires good communications skills with gymnasts, coaches, managers and parent carers.
Training:
Apprenticeship is delivered 100% in the workplace, to include Assessor visits.
Online tutorials with Assessor.

Training Outcome:
Tyneside are hopeful that the successful candidate will progress through the agreed British Gymnastics qualifications and after completion of the apprenticeship, become a gymnastics coach with the club.
Tyneside are looking to expand the coaching team in order to support more gymnasts across a wider range of disciplines and are committed to developing and training coaches to enable this to happen.
Employer Description:
Tyneside Gymnastics club has been established over 14 years and has a successful track record in providing gymnastics training and competition.
Tyneside is a small club, usually with 100 to 200 gymnasts participating at any one time.
Tyneside is a Not-For-profit CASC organisation. Any profit made is fed back into the club to support maintenance of the facilities, training and equipment purchases.
Working Hours :
hours may vary, but working between 3pm and 8.30pm during the week and on a Sunday.
Saturdays would be 9am-4pm.
