Science and Manufacturing Apprentice

Preparation for batch manufacture  To set-up production equipment to ensure correct functionality and calibration compliance  Start up, run and finish production batches using production equipment and automated systems within the validated process parameters following approved MBR’s and production procedures Monitor production process steps including carrying out in-process tests, yield calculations, product sampling and inspection to ensure quality is maintained  Fault finding and rectification on processes and equipment by liaising with other departments where necessary  Participate in quality investigations 

Training:

The Process Industry Manufacturing Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship will be provided by Cogent Skills and will be a 3year 3 month duration. You will have 1 study day a week, and will be joining virtually. You will be expected to be onsite at our offices 4 days a week. 

Training Outcome:

This apprenticeship will give the apprentice a good grounding and understanding of the pharmaceutical industry from the preperation of manufacturing, maintenance of equiptment to participating in quality investigations. This foundation will open options for the apprentice to pursue multiple careers within the industry.

Working Hours :
Shift work consisting of early and late shifts Monday-Friday with 1 study day. Joining study sessions virtually with Cogent Skills.
