Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice at First Steps Day Nursery, Yeovil

We have a very experienced team of practitioners who can role model and help support you.

Carrying out planned activities under the direct guidance, direction and supervision of the Nursery Manager/Deputy manager and team. This may include activities such as:

Cooking Group time Stories Play-acting Singing, etc., to stimulate children’s language, promote questions and develop ideas

Being a member of the team providing high-quality child-care provision, including taking care of children’s personal needs such as feeding, toileting, self-care.

Be committed to the Safeguarding and Welfare of the children and follow policies and procedures relating to all aspects of the Early Years setting.

Training:
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard

Training Outcome:
Progression onto the level 3 apprenticeship

We are a private day nursery in Yeovil, Somerset. We have been here for over 30 years offering a caring environment for children aged 6 months to school age. We focus on supporting the families attending the nursery and offering a nurturing, caring environment. We provide a welcoming atmosphere that fosters the learning and development of each individual child.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, times to be confirmed.
