Childcare Apprentice

Play a key role in providing a positive and secure relationship for your children and their families. Take on daily care and development of each child, you will be responsible for supporting and working closely with our Nursery Room Leader to assist in the daily running of the nursery room and educational activities. Playing an important role in supporting each stage of every child’s unique journey and enhancing learning through management lead planning of education and activities.

Training:
All training is work-based (no college) Functional skills in maths and English (if required)

Training schedule has yet to be agreed. An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. Details will be made available at a later date. 

Training Outcome:
Potential job opportunities or progression onto a higher-level apprenticeship.

Employer Description:
The Cottage Nursery provides day childcare service for children aged 3 months till 4 years of age. We intend for children to play, discover and grow their abilities. Each child is unique and has his / her own pace of growth.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am and 6.30pm
