Groundworker Apprentice

Internal and external drainage systems Accurately marking out foundations, excavating soil and placing concrete to establish a solid base for construction Constructing driveways and manholes, installing kerbs and edgings, laying slabs, and performing landscaping duties to complete site preparation

Training:
Groundworker Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard 6 x 2 week block training courses (over 18 months) at Bridgwater & Taunton College Construction Skills & Innovation Centre, Cannington, Somerset and the remainder in the workplace

Training Outcome:
Potential for promotion subject to progress within the organisation All required upskilling courses can be arranged
