Grounds Maintenance and Horticulture Apprenticeship

Maintaining and improving the appearance of a wide variety of public and communal green spaces - lawns, hedges, flower beds, woodland pathways and nature reserves Using and maintaining a variety of machinery, including lawnmowers, strimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers and more Preparing, planting and caring for newly planted areas such as shrubs, trees and new turf Maintaining grass, hedges and flower beds Identifying common plants and how to care for them

Training:
Practical horticulture training sessions will take place fortnightly (during term time) at the Cannington campus of Bridgwater and Taunton College Address: Rodway, Cannington, Bridgwater TA5 2LS Enviro will reimburse the cost of travel to college for the apprenticeship

Training Outcome:

Upon completion of apprenticeship, individuals would be well-suited to apply for a Team Leader role within Enviro Landscape Group.

Enviro Landscape Group are a growing Grounds Maintenance and Arboriculture contractor, working across Bristol and the South West. Our mobile teams maintain green spaces across the region and beyond. We offer year round grounds maintenance services, adapting our focus based on the needs of each season and location, and respond quickly to emergency needs across our sites.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 7.15am to 4.30pm. College/off the job training will take place one day per week - currently scheduled for Wednesdays.
