Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship - Childcare Level 2

At Little Rainbows a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice is required for this busy open plan day nursery.
You will be trained up in all aspects of the Level 2 Qualification including:

Toileting Feeding Planning activities Doing risk assessments Telling stories Reading Counting Safeguarding Children Communicating with team and children and parents

Training:

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Little Rainbows will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day. You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes: Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification Functional skills in Maths and English if required This will be delivered through Little Rainbow's dedicated training provider, Realise. Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.

Training Outcome:

Once qualified will progress onto Level 3 Childcare or Leadership and Supervision Level 3.

Employer Description:
A purpose built nursery situated in the centre of Wallasey Village. They are a small, dedicated, 36 place, family orientated day nursery who pride themselves on having children at the heart of what they do. Little Rainbows offer childcare for children aged from birth to 5 years Monday to Friday 8am-6pm.

Working Hours :
37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed at offer stage.
