Representing one of the top 10 international exhibition organisers, our client has an opportunity for an Exhibition Stand Build Co-ordinator to join their small team based here in the UK to co-ordinate and plan international stand builds at world leading trade shows where the businesses they work with can showcase their products and innovations.
The ability to speak German would be a real advantage in this role but is not essential. What's more important to our client, is finding the person with the right attitude, skills and experience who can ensure that stand designs are installed correctly at the exhibitions and they meet client expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate effectively with the production teams.Source and liaise with suppliers.Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for customers.Review project specs, drawings and documentation.Monitor project costs and provide financial insights to ensure profitability.Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.The ideal candidate will be hungry to learn and show off their organisational skills. Personal qualities, knowledge, skills and experience
The following is required for this position:
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Keen eye for details.A dedication to meet a client's brief.A passion for graphics and design.Confidence talking to people.Ability to problem solve.Ideally you will also have a working knowledge of design packages. Please tell us about your level of knowledge/experience of using design packages.
You must have experience in the full Microsoft Office Suite
Overtime
The event programmes mean that exhibition build up periods occur outside of the standard working hours. As such, the ideal candidate will be flexible in the hours they work, understanding that sometimes weekend work is unavoidable. Contracted hours will be Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm. Where you are required to work additional time, Time Off in Lieu is applied.
