Children's Social Worker

We are looking for a Seior Social Worker to join a Pre-Birth Assessment Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience.

About the team

This role is part of the assessment team and solely involves completing pre-birth assessments. Effective assessment, analysis and planning skills and ability to work with a systemic approach is a necessity to work well in this team. The team is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families to ensure the best outcome possible.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a children’s frontline safeguarding Social Work team as well as key experience in pre-birth assessments. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle is essential for this role.
