Customer Service & Account Manager

Due to internal promotion and the growth and success of this thriving long established company, we are looking for another professional, first class Customer Service Account Manager to join the established team to help with increased workloads.

This role is offered on a fixed term contract initially until August 2022 but for right person will go permanent.

This role would be ideal for highly experienced customer service/account manager who can juggle tasks, show resilience, learn quickly and proactively support this thriving business.

This busy role, therefore the ability to work in a customer led pressured environment is essential.

As a Customer Service /Account Manager, you will be reporting to the Team Leader and will look after a selected portfolio of customers.
Key Duties:

Correctly recording and interpreting orders, taking account of any specific customer requirements
Proactively ensure customers are understood, communicated and completed in a timely manner
Coordinate with pricing and sales to initial contract discussions with customer to allow orders to be processed right first time
Manage back order process through reports and face to face conversations with stakeholders
Log customer queries and complaints, ensuring ownership from beginning to end
Attention to detail through the order to cash process

Experience and skills required:

Proven customer service/account management experience
Highly numerate and literate with effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Problem solving skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
Computer literate - the ability to use Microsoft Office Packages (especially Excel)
Ability to show empathy to all customer requirements
Works to a high level of accuracy and pays high attention to detail
Work in a collaborative and support environment
Able to show resilience
Demonstrates proactivity; a “can-do” attitude, the ability to use initiative and shows resilience

The starting salary is excellent and will be discussed on application.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours), based on a hybrid working model.
