Senior Support Worker (Temp to Perm)

Location: Herefordshire Ledbury
Starting Pay: £12.60 per hour (PAYE)

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be providing high-quality support to children with learning disabilities, social emotional needs and challenging behaviours. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering stability and the chance to grow within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Children with emotional, physical, and mental health needs, including challenging behaviours. Ensure the welfare and care of each child. Give guidance and support to all residential workers. Lead and support a team of care workers to deliver exceptional care. Maintain clear communication with both clients and team members. Work flexibly, including evenings, sleep-ins, weekends, and public holidays, according to the needs of the service.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in support work, particularly with children with disabilities and challenging behaviours. Previous experience in a senior role within the childrens residential. NVQ Level 3 in Children's and Young People Workforce. (preferred). Strong communication skills and a self-motivated attitude. An Enhanced Child and Adults DBS on the Update Service. Flexibility to work varied hours and travel to Herefordshire.

Must held a full UK driver's license and be able to travel to Herefordshire Ledbury area.
