Assistant Manager - Accounts
Service Care Solutions are working alongside a Chartered Accountancy Practice for an Assistant Manager – Accounts to join their team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the role below.
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 (based on experience, qualifications and interview performance)
Working: Hybrid
Role Overview
Preparation and Review of Limited Company Accounts: Prepare and review financial statements for non-audit clients, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and the Companies Act 2006. Company and Personal Tax Returns: Prepare and review corporate tax returns, personal self-assessment tax returns, and ensure timely submission to HMRC. Tax Planning and Advisory: Provide tax planning and advisory services, ensuring clients maximise available tax reliefs and manage tax liabilities effectively. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing proactive advice and addressing their accounting and tax queries. Systems Implementation (Xero): Lead or assist with the setup, implementation, and optimisation of Xero accounting software for clients.Required Skills and Experience:
ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in preparing and reviewing non-audit limited company accounts.
