Dental Nurse Apprentice

We are a well established fully private, independant practice based in Matlock and Chesterfield, and offer cosmetic dentistry, facial aesthetics, implants, sedation, Invisalign and general dentistry.

You would be part of an innovative, expanding business, working with a highly skilled team and cutting edge equipment.

The ideal candidate will have:

Competence in delivering a high level of customer service. A warm, friendly, reliable and adaptable personality. The ability to work flexibly with others in a busy team environment. Excellent communication skills. The ability and personality to build a rapport with our patients & team.

The role will involve:

Assisting in surgery with cosmetic procedures, implant surgery, aesthetic procedures, sedation, general dental procedures. Working as part of a team to execute a first-class service. Carrying out general clinical & administrative duties to ensure the effective running of the practice.

Training:

Dental Nursing Level 3 apprenticeship standard, which includes a qualification approved by the General Dental Council as meeting the requirements for registration as a Dental nurse. Delivery method and location of training to be confirmed. Details will be made available at a later date.

Training Outcome:

Possible full time position with completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday: 08:30 - 17:30 Tuesday: 08:30 - 17:30 Wednesday: 08:30 - 17:30 Thursday: 07.30 - 17:30 Friday: 08:30 - 16:30 Saturdays: On a rota system (up to 2 per month, with time given off in the week to compensate). 1.5 x pay for Saturday hours.
