Maintenance Technician Apprentice
You will split your time between college learning and working within our world-class manufacturing plant, equipping you with the skills and knowledge you need to work as part of the team maintaining our state-of-the-art production facilities
You be supported by our experienced technicians to nurture your theoretical, problem-solving and hands-on-skills
With varied working areas, including Body Shop, Trim & Chassis, Powertrain and Press & Plastics, you will have the chance to see a range of manufacturing areas, working within the team responsible for breakdown repairs, preventative maintenance, dynamic checks and project work
You will get the opportunity to experience the latest machinery and equipment such as PLCs, AGVs and FANUC robots
Your developing skills will also support the development of the current and future line-up of Nissan’s vehicles, including new model launches and the qualities processes od associated production processes
Training:
You'll be working towards a Level 3 Maintenance Technician apprenticeship standard. Your first year will be at college. In Year 2 - 5, you will split your time between college learning and working within our world-class manufacturing plant on day-release to college once a week.
Training Outcome:
The right candidate may become a full-time Maintenance Technician
