Apprentice Hairdresser

In this role you will have hands on experience with clients, initially meeting and greeting, leading onto developing the skills you need to get more involved with the clients hair.

Day to day roles will include:

Keeping the salon clean and tidy (including staff areas) Making clients feel welcome with drinks Answering the phone to make bookings Washing up and laundry Washing hair Assisting stylists by mixing colours

Training:
You will achieve a Level 2 Hairdressing professsional qualification via work mentor and Cambridge Regional College.

Training Outcome:
Once completed there will be the opportunity to talk about future plans.

Employer Description:
Hair salon based in Buntingford run by two sisters, who have had a career in the industry for 20 years. We have had this salon for nearly 8 years and are lucky to be in a growing town that provides much opportunity for new clients.

Working Hours :
Tuesday & Friday, 9:15am to 5.00pm. Thursday, 10.00am to 7.00pm. Saturday, 8.00am to 4.00pm. 1 hour lunch break on all days. Wednesday apprentice day off (unless you don’t attend college, you come to the salon 9:15am to 5.00pm).
