To deliver an effective finance unit for the Company.To manage all day to day finance related activities, development of effective finance team, ensuring consistent application of best practice industry standards and procedures, treasury & compliance matters, internal controls, budgeting/forecasting process and analysing financial data.To interact effectively with other parts of the business, supporting colleagues in interpreting reporting and communicating financial data and information.
Managing all day-to-day financial control related matters; treasury and banking relationshipsManaging relationship with merchant services providers and consideration of optimum merchant services arrangementsManaging all financial reporting ensuring timely delivery of effective information to relevant users (internal and external)Review & analysis of reporting and preparation of commentariesReview of monthly balance sheet reconciliations & control accountsManaging effective budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reportingManaging all compliance matters including taxation, company secretarial and other statutory reportingEnsuring compliance with all accounting standards and other related requirementsEnsuring compliance with Company law requirementsManaging annual insurance renewal for Company and compliance with ongoing insurance related requirementsManaging annual audit processManaging day to day relationships with Revenue for the CompanyDevelopment of and adherence to appropriate/best practice internal & financial controls & systems, accounting and financial procedures within various business unitsFinancial risk managementOversee accounting / reporting systems and optimisation of use of such systemsDevelopment of financial models and analysis tools to facilitate effective communication of informationDevelopment of finance teamSupervision and review of work of finance team membersEnsuring finance team obtain appropriate technical and other supportProviding assistance and support to colleagues in respect of finance related mattersGeneral project related work (as directed by CFO)
Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or completed degree in Finance / Accounting5 to 10 years experience in a similar finance position within a Hotel or Hotel/Hospitality groupComputer literate in Microsoft Window and Opera.
Knowledge of Navision would be advantageous.Strong communication and presentation skillsExperience being responsible for the full cycle of Finance and Accounting for the hotelWell organized, highly responsible and reliable with exceptional attention to detailStrong analytical and critical thinkingSelf-starter able to work well in a team as well as autonomously
Must have European passport or valid Rights to Work in Europe/Ireland.
