An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Wimborne has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Wimborne. He, she or they will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. This person will be working closely with a senior member of the team and the team on-site to gain experience and training of building services.

The successful candidate will have an interest in facilities maintenance and a strong work ethic. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £26,000, overtime, plenty of further training and a potential route into further career progression.

Hours of work & Package

Monday-Thursday 07:30 – 16:00 & Friday 07:30 – 15:00.25 days holiday + Bank holidaysOvertime availableFurther trainingCompany pension
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Painting & DecoratingBasic lightingFixing FurnitureHanging Pictures & ShelvesMaintain and update Log booksAssist the maintenance team on siteEscort sub-contractorsTo undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.Requirements
