Solar O&M Performance Analst
Role
Climate17 are working exclusively with a High Voltage and Engineering services consultancy who maintain a growing portfolio of large-scale solar farms across the UK.
They are looking for a Solar O&M Performance Analyst to monitor daily and long-term performance of a number of solar assets using remote monitoring systems and other 3rd party systems in order to identify any downtime or plant and equipment irregularities and provide information to the O&M operatives and contractors as required.
Responsibilities
Remotely monitor assets and immediately advise the Asset Manager of issues affecting site production and availability.Remotely monitor their portfolio of assets and ensure contractors are responding to site faults and errors on the equipment within agreed timeframes/SLAs.Provide support to the Asset Manager and the O&M team to diagnose and remedy operational problems.Provide direct input to the reporting system, update existing spreadsheets and create new as required.Track equipment issues and defects throughout the entire lifetime of the assets.Analyse the monitoring system data to identify current and historic long-term issues, faults and any patterns that may indicate irregularities with the installed equipment.Comply with all required fire, health and safety requirements for the environment in which you are working.Attend Asset Management team meetings, handover meetings and appraisals as required.Visit company sites within the UK (as required)
Requirements
1+ year (post education) experience with computerised monitoring systems on plant and equipment (preferably Solar)Degree Educated, ideally in an Engineering or Renewable Energy discipline (Desirable)Interpretation of mechanical and electrical engineering drawingsAdvanced Excel Skills (macros, visual basic)Power BI or equivalent (Desirable)Ability to commute to East Sussex offices as requiredFull UK drivers licence (Desirable)
Location: Flexible - Remote/hybrid plus travel to East Sussex offices
