You will be:
An experienced and commercially astute property professional (either a Chartered Surveyor or working towards your APC) with a strong background in transactional work
Experienced in general land and property matters including acquisition of land and land/property rights?
Confident, with strong oral and written communication skills and comfortable professionally managing relationships with key stakeholders
Highly organised with an ability to forward plan and effectively manage and prioritise a high volume and varied caseload
A team player who enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary environment
About The RoleAcquire Land and Property Interests: Secure both short and long-term land and property interests to support our operational programs.Manage Statutory Responsibilities: Ensure the Authority’s statutory responsibilities related to surface property are properly managed. Strategically dispose of non-operational land, securing the best terms available.Oversee Property Management: Efficiently manage property-related issues and contracts, including lease renewals, valuations, covenants, clawbacks, external consultants, and litigation.Support Team Objectives: Contribute to the team’s goals by reviewing sites and providing timely advice to the Principal and other department members.Day-to-Day Management: Conduct daily property management tasks in accordance with the Authority’s procedures and systems.
