Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

• To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 12 weeks to 4 years.
• To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others.
• Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and ensure children’s work and achievements are displayed. Resources are looked after and displayed in an appropriate way.
• To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
• Maintain an engaging environment, both indoors and outdoors. That changes with topic and needs.
• To plan engaging and well-pitched daily lessons and inputs in accordance with the early years curriculum.
• Plan support, themselves and the apprentice, so that it is used efficiently to support the children.
• To support developing partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child’s development.
• To plan inclusive lessons / activities that provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities

Training:
Day release at Middlesbrough College 

Training Outcome:
Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available.
