Apprentice Transport Planner

Writing reports Providing technical information for all types of planning applications and a range of different land uses Commissioning traffic surveys Attending site visits Producing capacity assessments for all types of junctions using Junctions9, Linsig, and VISSIM software packages

Training:

You will be working towards the Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Transport Planning at Leeds College of Building.

The course operates on 2 week block release.

Following completion of the Level 3 qualification, there is the opportunity to further your career by progressing to Degree level.

Our core services include transport assessment, travel planning, strategic transport planning, public transport planning, highway feasibility design, detailed highway design and expert witness evidence at public inquiries. We have an extensive, long-standing client base, with a range of projects which vary from commercial, retail, and residential through to Local Plan Representations and attendance at Public Inquiries.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day. Start time generally between 8:30am and 9:30am, finishing between 4:30pm and 5:30pm.
