Apprentice Operative

Learning how to construct, maintain and repair water network infrastructure, learning from our qualified operatives, your team leader and mentor Understanding how to comply with Avove’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Policy Provisions and Work Together, Safe Together ethos Learning to carry out tasks, activities and learn how to operate plant and equipment that you need to use.  Gain competence in using this equipment and certifications where needed Building good relationships with customers and always behave in a professional manner Understanding how to adhere to Streetworks regulations Develop knowledge about risk assessments and make sure you always follow these. Always wear the correct personal protective equipment and ensure that all tools, equipment and plant are maintained, kept in a usable condition and report any concerns to your team leader

Training:

You will attend training on a block placement pattern.  You will go to the training provider's centre for one week every 6-8 weeks.

Fully qualified Operative Team Leader Site Supervisor/Manager
