Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprentice

Operate and maintain cutting machines for precise material preparation. Assist in the production of textile components for evacuation chairs. Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet high standards. Support machinists with assembly and fabrication tasks. Prepare and organise materials for efficient production workflows. Collaborate with the team to meet manufacturing deadlines. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace. Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles to improve processes. Document work and report on production progress.

Training:

BTEC and NVQ in Performing Manufactoring Operations including Functional Skills if required.

Training Outcome:

The company will offer a long-term career progression once the apprenticeship successfully completed. Evac+Chair offer many progression routes in the future.

Monday – Thursday 7am -4pm and Friday 7am -12pm
