Complex Injury Assistant Lawyer

Our national client is recruiting an assistant lawyer to work within their leading complex injury claims team based in Bolton, assisting senior lawyers in handling high-value, multi-track claims. This is a great opportunity to progress under the guidance of experienced supervision.

Responsibilities:

Support lawyers in managing a caseload of high-value multi-track claims, to include indemnity, liability and medical issues. Provide forensic analysis of evidence, prepare detailed chronologies and identify key information. Utilise your knowledge of complex medical symptomology to review records and instruct medical experts. Draft technical advice on reserves, liability, quantum and resolution strategies. Engage directly with clients, witnesses and other stakeholders. Prepare pleadings, applications, and attend mediations, conferences, or court hearings. Collaborate with and mentor paralegals on assigned tasks.

What they are looking for:

A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive or proven equivalent relevant experience. Expertise in large loss cases with complex medical and liability issues. Strong advocacy, communication, and analytical skills. Deep understanding of case law, litigation practice, and court procedures. A proactive and client-focused approach.
