Join a leading tertiary mental health service that provides a full spectrum of inpatient, community, and outreach services  across a 150,000 km² catchment area. 

Working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team, this 0.9FTE Consultant Psychiatrist position is focused on providing expert psychiatric care across hospital, community, and outreach settings, leading quality improvement, research, teaching, and supervision within Adult Mental Health Services.

This role provides opportunities to practice across diverse settings while contributing to quality improvement, research, teaching, and leadership initiatives.

You will be living in a vibrant, tropical city in Northern Queensland that sees over 300 days of sunshine a year. You’ll have easy access to breathtaking attractions like Magnetic Island, the Whitsundays and the iconic Great Barrier Reef. Salary information
Consultant Psychiatrists can expect a QLD Health salary package of up to $400,000+ p.a depending on seniority.

Requirements  
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), or equivalent. Psychiatrists eligible for the fast-track registration pathway are encouraged to apply.
