Supervising Social Worker - Independent Fostering Agency

A good rated, family owned Independent Fostering Agency are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to play a key role in ensuring that they continue to provide an excellent service to children, foster carers, and placing authorities. As the supervising Social Worker, you will be covering a caseload of foster carers over the South London region. This role is full-time and permanent, plus home-based.

Your responsibilities as the Supervising Social Worker:

Providing guidance, supervision, and support to carers Supporting the development of the service in relation to therapeutic interventions and practice models Promoting the development of our foster carers’ skills and aptitudes

Requirements of you as the Supervising Social Worker:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) A valid registration with Social Work England Significant experience of working within Looked After Children Experience of working within Fostering Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: South London

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum
