Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced MIG & TIG Welder on behalf of a reputable high-end and bespoke furniture manufacturer based in Elland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a thriving environment where quality craftsmanship is at the forefront of production. The successful candidate will have a strong background in welding with experience in MIG and TIG techniques, ideally in the production of bespoke products.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG and TIG welding on high-end bespoke furniture items and components.Interpret technical drawings and schematics to complete welding tasks with precision.Ensure that welding work meets the company's high-quality standards.Operate and maintain welding equipment in accordance with safety regulations.Work effectively with other team members to ensure efficient production.Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, ideally within a manufacturing or furniture production setting.Experience working with high-end, bespoke products is desirable.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workload effectively.Ideally, candidates will have experience in a similar role, but we are open to those looking to advance their welding skills in a bespoke production environment.

Additional Information:

Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour, based on experience.Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:40 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday 7:40 AM to 2:00 PM.Overtime: Time and a half for overtime.Contract: This is a temp-to-perm position, providing the opportunity for long-term employment.Location: Elland, West Yorkshire.
