Regional Senior Care Assistant

A local premier care group is now looking for an experienced HCA to join the team as a Regional Senior Care Assistant, helping to ensure residents get the support they need at several luxury homes in and around Norwich.

As a Regional Care Assistant, you will have a greater level of variety in your day-to-day as you support the more advanced elements of care (such as medication and observations), mentor more junior team members, and – above all – support residents across the area to live well, stay safe, and make the most of what their home has to offer.

You won’t be limited to just one site but will move between your base home and a small number of other local homes, helping to give care in the area that extra little bit of flexibility – this means a valid driving licence and ready access to a car will be essential. Mileage for journeys over 5 miles will be fully covered.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a Regional Senior Care Assistant with a mixed shift pattern.

 

Person specification:

(Essential) Valid UK driving licence and ongoing access to a personal vehicle(Essential) At least 12 months’ experience as a healthcare assistant in an elderly care setting(Desirable) Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, with willingness to complete NVQ Level 3 if not already achieved
