Apprentice - Lean Consultant
The Apprentice Lean Consultant will have the opportunity to gain great skills and responsibilities from the very beginning within the Lean Improvement Team. There are no set day-to-day responsibilities due to the flexible nature of responding to our client’s and project's needs, however, our apprentices will have the opportunity to learn by:
· Supporting the Lean Improvement Group in driving lean implementation, assisting our Lean leaders and Practitioners to ensure projects are successfully delivered.
· Supporting Lean assessments as required.
· Supporting and facilitating our client engagements developing key communication skills.
· Assisting in reporting on Lean activities and progress.
· Helping in driving responses to the annual Highways Excellence Lean Maturity Assessment.
· Helping the Lean Improvement team innovate and grow our solutions and services to provide excellent client experiences.
· Identify opportunities to learn, grow and develop using our internal communities, team members and training materials.
Training:
On this apprenticeship you will complete the Level 4 Improvement Practitioner and this will be delivered on a day release basis.
Training Outcome:
Following the apprenticeship, the apprentice can either develop further in their specialism or explore other routes and opportunities across our business.

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
