Apprentice Flood Risk & Hydrology Consultant
The apprentice will work under the supervision of a number of consultants and Project Managers on the delivery of water management projects for a variety of clients to achieve their objectives and improve the quality of life for their customers. Typical tasks and activities include:
· Collating and analysing various sources of data to determine flood risk and water environment conditions
· Use GIS and other mapping tools to present data / solutions
· Contribute to the writing of reports
· Undertake on the job training related to flood modelling and hydrology, plus the learning from their part-time degree course, and apply these skills to ongoing project activities
Training:
On this apprenticeship you will complete the BSc Environmental Management with University of the West of England, Bristol. This is delivered on a day release basis.
Training Outcome:
Following the apprenticeship, the apprentice can either develop further in their specialism or explore other routes and opportunities across our business.

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
