Nursery Apprenticeship

Supported by a qualified Early Years Educator you will work alongside the staff in the setting helping to set up the daily activities, working with the children on a day to day basis and helping to tidy away at the end of the session Under the supervision of a senior member of staff you will ensure each child’s needs are recognised and met To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulation

Training:
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner, including Functional Skills if required You will be supported by a mentor from our chosen training company who will access you in the setting and also by telephone calls regularly throughout your training Your work will be submitted via a computer so you will have to have basic ICT skill You will receive a level 2 qualification in Childcare on completion of your training You will not attend college

Training Outcome:
On completion of your apprenticeship your career opportunity within the company will be discussed

 

Employer Description:
We are a family run nursery who opened its doors in 2015. We have an Good Ofsted report which we are very proud of. Our staff work well as a team and individually. We are a friendly and happy working environment, we engage in out of hours team building events and meals.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 4.00pm plus training and meetings.
