To organise resources for activities and experiences in the nursery To assist in enhancing the developmental progress in children To implement the daily routine within the nursery To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and good housekeeping  To maintain a thorough knowledge of all the Nursery’s policies and procedures; ensuring that they are followed and respected 

Training:

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) End-Point Assessment (EPA) Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) Apprentices must successfully complete the Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF)

Training Outcome:
For the successful candidate there is the possibility of ongoing employment upon completion of the relevant qualification

Employer Description:
Treetops Day nursery was established in 2002 and is housed within a beautifully large Victorian building which boasts three extensive outdoor play areas. Soft play for under twos, an astro turf section and a nature garden where children explore our mud kitchen, planting and bug hunting adventures. On arrival you are welcomed by our receptionist who will guide you to our spacious classrooms that provide the basis for excellent learning through our highly qualified and knowledgeable team. We have the advantage of a dedicated large indoor play area, art room, dining rooms and our calming sensory room to utilise throughout the day. We are based near local parks and woodlands which allows children to go on regular outings, this encourages self-awareness of the world around them. Treetops has many transport links as we are in Sheffield 11, a stones-throw away from the city centre and can be easily accessed by car, bus and walking routes. Car parking is also available on the nursery grounds for our families

Working Hours :
Working 40 hours a week, your Rota will cover the Nursery's opening hours Monday to Friday; however, your start and finish times may vary week to week. Shifts to be confirmed.
