Early Years Educator Apprenticeship - Wiggles and Giggles Day Nursery and Preschool

Safeguard children’s wellbeing and follow nursery policies and procedures. Deliver activities and contribute to planning, potentially taking responsibility for specific planning areas. Conduct and record observations of children’s learning and development. Build strong relationships with a key worker group, supporting their development and tracking progress through learning journey books and next steps. Communicate regularly with parents, including participating in parent consultations. Assist with preparing and maintaining equipment and collaborate closely with the room leader and staff. Support children during lunch and snack times, including food preparation and clean-up, ensuring food safety certification if needed. Help with toileting needs and care, such as changing nappies, feeding, and comforting based on the child’s age. Share responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. Work as part of a team and support staff and children in the nursery, including cleaning and daily chores. Adhere to health and safety legislation, child protection regulations, Ofsted guidelines, and National Standards.

Training:

Qualification: Level 3 Early Years 
Duration of course: 19 months
Training Provider: LMP Education (Rated No 1 Training Provider in the UK)
All learning delivered online/ remotely alongside placement at nursery.



Training Outcome:

Possible full-time employment upon completion of the apprenticeship.
