Uvex Safety UK Ltd - Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship

Picking orders, recording and checking stock, collating paperwork, yard picking Loading customer's orders directly into carriers' vehicles and preparing orders to be delivered Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to requisite Health and Safety standards Placing all incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner, identifying stock anomalies and taking appropriate action Processing of customer returns Participating in any duties in the interests of Health & Safety, including COSHH compliance, Spillage clean-up, and safe manual handling

Desired skills, qualities and qualifications:

IT literate, at least sufficient to operate computerised order processing systems Physically fit and able to undertake warehouse operations through a 7-hour day, which includes manual lifting and carrying of products Customer Service Good organisational skills Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks Honesty and integrity

Training:

The successful candidate will obtain a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship standard qualification. 

Training Outcome:

Potential full-time employment for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 8am till 4pm with a 1-hour lunchbreak
