Training:

The programme will consist of training that is provided in the workplace (Immingham, Hull and Goole) as well as training provider designated training facility (Hull). 

L2 Port operative Apprenticeship Standard

 

Training Outcome:

The Port Operative Apprentice programme is run for 2 years and upon successful completion, this leads to a transition into a promoted role of Multi Skilled Port Operative.

Employer Description:
Stevedoring / Cargo Handling Company operating within the Port and Shipping sector.

Working Hours :
The candidate must be flexible to cater for the changing demands of the Port and Shipping sector. As a guide, a normal working day ranges from 6 am to 6 pm. Monday to Friday with weekends being on a as required basis.
