Apprentice Chef

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Prepare, cook and present food to company standard Keep kitchen and surrounding areas clean, tidy and hygienic Work safely with kitchen equipment Keeping accurate records relating to Environmental Health and Food Standards Support chefs in day-to-day running

Training:

The successful candidate will work towards achieving their Apprenticeship Standard in Production Chef Level 2. 

A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course. This is a predominately work-based programme with college attendance required once a month. All learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/college and within their contracted working hours. This will include Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the Apprenticeship, we would hope to employ the apprentice as an Assistant Chef in the kitchen once they are qualified and continue to develop with on-the-job training.

Paul Vidic, a renowned Lincolnshire chef, took over the running of a community pub, to provide excellent food and drink in a relaxed and beautiful setting nestled in the heart of the picturesque ridge village of Harmston.

Working Hours :
Wednesday & Thursday: 16:00 - 21:30. Friday & Saturday: 12:30 - 21:30. Sunday 12:30 - 16:00.
