Childcare Apprenticeship - Gloucester (x3)

We have church visits, library visits, coffee mornings for parents and grandparents, trips to the retirement home and much more. We want children to love their close community as well as their larger one, helping the charities we support such as The Wildlife Trust. After all, individually we are a drop but together we are an ocean.

Your role will inclue; 

To develop and sustain stimulating learning environments that meet the developmental needs and interests of the children in our care To support children’s development and learning, enabling them to become confident, capable, and self-motivated learners To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others To gain on the job knowledge and experience of Early years To develop and sustain stimulating learning environments that meet the developmental needs and interests of the children in our care To support children’s development and learning, enabling them to become confident, capable, and self-motivated learners To ensure that the nursery is a safe environment for children, staff and others To gain on the job knowledge and experience of Early years To support staff children in their play and learning To gain knowledge of routine and practices To support with mealtime and food serving

Ridgemount Cottage was founded by Louise, who opened the doors of the old dairy building in the grounds of her family home in 1994, welcoming just one child. Since then, there have been lots of changes, lots of mess and lots of smiles! But our values have stayed the same.
