Health Care Navigator / Admin Assistant Apprentice

Predominantly respond to telephone and online requests. Booking, cancelling and amending appointments. Signposting patients to the most appropriate help available Receiving, recording and passing on accurate messages for fellow colleagues Performing reception duties Booking appointments Dealing with patients both face-to-face and on the telephone  Record accurate and sensitive information Accurate processing of repeat prescription procedure

Training:

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration consisting of:

Level 3 Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics (if applicable) Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if applicable)

You will be required to attend a half-day session with HBTC where you will work towards any functional skills (where needed) that you have to take. Additional off the job training will also be required as part of the Apprenticeship. There will also be an end point assessment. 



Training Outcome:

After the Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for you to advance in the workplace or go on to higher education.
