Teaching Assistant Apprentice - Food and Hospitality
Preparing ingredients for students to use in the classroom.
Ensuring the right equipment is available for lessons.
Ensuring the kitchen is cleaned down after use and ready for the next lesson.
Supporting the teacher in cooking demonstrations.
Supporting students in their hospitality lessons – this could be 1:1 or in small groups.
Be familiar with the food/hospitality curriculum to support students effectively.
Training:
Level 3 Apprenticeship in Teaching Assistant consisting of:
Level 3 Apprenticeship in Teaching Assistant Level 2 Functional Skills in English (if applicable) Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths (if applicable)You will be required to attend a half-day session with HBTC where you will work towards any functional skills (where needed) that you have to take. There will also be an end point assessment.
Training Outcome:
After the Apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for you to advance in the workplace or go on to higher education.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm.
