Early Years Apprentice

As an Early Years Apprentice your duties will include:

Supporting the daily routine Creating a fun and nurturing environment allowing children the opportunity to thrive Setting up play activities Aid setting and clearing up the nursery Provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for the children and their families Willingness to be involved Build relationships and liaise closely with parents and other professionals involved within the nursery Implement and deliver the curriculum Contribute to planning Ensure that the children’s needs are met by offering structure, care and stability Work in partnership with other team members Respecting the confidentiality and privacy of information

Training:
Training will take place once a week in-house at Brookside School delivered by Strode College Applications are being managed by Strode College

Training Outcome:
Possible permanent position available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship

Brookside Nursery is a dynamic nursery offering nursery provision in Street and to the surrounding areas. It provides high quality childcare for children between the ages of 0 and 5 years. We currently have a vacancy within our nursery for an apprentice to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the nursery with children aged 0 to 5 years supporting our practitioners in delivering high quality care and education.

Working Hours :
Working hours are set on a rota basis between 8.00am and 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Shifts will be confirmed. This is an all-year-round position.
