Childcare Apprenticeship
Working in a childcare setting with children ranging from ages 0-5
Completing a variety of day-to-day childcare tasks to ensure that children’s needs, welfare and education is catered for
Being able to liaise with external customers - parents - to provide a high level of service for the childcare setting
Safeguarding the children
Partaking in indoor and outdoor activity
Creating innovative new activities for the children
Teaching within the EYFS framework
Training:
You will be working towards an Advanced Diploma Early Years
Your apprenticeship will last for 14 months, where you will be supported by a dedicated assessor throughout your apprenticeship, as well as a mentor and other staff within the nursery
This apprenticeship requires dedication, commitment and punctuality for you to be successful
This apprenticeship will open doors to a variety of future roles and career paths within the childcare sector
Training will take place in the workplace
You will need to attend online training with your assessor 1 day a week for the 1st 8 weeks of your apprenticeship, for your classroom-based learning and you will be working within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of your dedicated childcare assessor
You will complete a qualification in paediatric first aid
Early years educator
Level 3 (A level)
Training Outcome:
Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position upon successful completion. Other prospects could include applying for:

Our beautifully designed nursery is situated in the heart of St. John’s Wood in North London. We have developed a bespoke curriculum – devised to encourage your little ones to b-confident and to prepare them for a seamless transition into the primary education. Our nursery is open all year round, from 8am to 6pm and caters for children aged 12 months to 5 years. We believe in keeping you up to date with how your child is developing and encourage open communication between our nursery team and our b-together families.
Working Hours :
Apprentices are required to be flexible, meet the needs of the business, and punctuality is key. Working as part of a team and using your own initiative are essential, Monday-Friday shifts TBC.
