Primary School - Sports Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
In this role, you will build skills and experiences within the classroom, whilst also working alongside the PE Lead to develop the sporting provision within the school
Duties will include:
Your role will see you working 1:1, in small groups and with whole classes to ensure the educational opportunities for all children are met Support the work of school staff to deliver high-quality PE and school sports To support and deliver extracurricular activities to include after-school clubs Support the development of PE and school sports Set up, take down and store activity equipment Promote health, safety, and welfare in PE and school sports Support Equality and Diversity in PE and school sportThis is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced staff to learn the interpersonal and management skills needed to work with young people and adults whilst also being given the opportunity to share your own expertise and think creatively about how to help the school move forward with PE.
Training:
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning Standard 18 months practical with an additional 2 months End Point Assessment period Functional Skills in maths, and English (if required)
