Apprentice Early Years Practitioner
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Armathwaite Community School from January. We are looking for a new apprentice to work across nursery and reception supporting our pupils to achieve and succeed.

We are looking for a confident and hard working individual who has a minimum of grade 4/C in maths and English. You must be willing to undertake any further training required that will help you to support our pupils.
Training:
Upon completion of this apprenticeship, you will gain a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification. This Level 2 apprenticeship is expected to last a period of 12-18 months. You will attend live tutor led sessions 2 days every month (1 day every other week which will either be via ZOOM or in person depending on your location) and participate in online interactive learning via our bespoke innovative platform OLLIE. Your Tutor will also visit you in the workplace for 1-2-1 Tutor sessions during the program.
The course content includes a range of topics which make up the variety of knowledge, skills and behaviours of what makes for a highly competent and professional TA. By acquiring these elements, you will graduate the apprenticeship a fully competent and well trained Teaching Assistant.
Training Outcome:
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there is a potential for a permanent role dependant on candidate performance and organisations requirements.

Armathwaite is a small village primary school serving the lovely communities of Armathwaite and Ainstable in the beautiful Eden valley, offering provision for children aged 3-11 years. We have a purpose built Early Years unit with rich and exciting indoor and outdoor learning environments for our Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children. We also have a Year 2, 3 class and Year 4, 5 and 6.
