Apprentice Pre-Press Technician - Level 3
Typeset, page layout and amend files within predefined templates using the Adobe suite, primarily InDesign
Send and receive digital files including proofs
Plan work to meet production requirements
Manage monochrome and colour digital workflows
To create finished work meeting all customer requirements following ISO9001 procedures with zero defects and spoilage and achieving specified levels of productivity
To work as a team member, supporting other members as required, and contributing to the process of continually improving work methods and techniques
To undertake self-checking and monitoring of work produced, using own initiative to ensure quality and specification conformance.
Promote and maintain health and safety in a print-related work environment
To be able to work alone using own initiative to resolve operational issues and contributing to the process of continually improving work methods and techniques
Training Outcome:
The apprentice will become a valuable member of the Pre-Press team.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 08:10am - 16:00pm or 08:30am - 16:20pm with a 20-minute unpaid break.
