As a Supply Chain Degree Apprentice, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to ensuring product availability through meticulous planning and proactive management. Key responsibilities include:

Production Planning: Learn to forecast and plan production schedules to align with customer demand, optimizing product availability and minimising delays. Inventory Control: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure the right products are always available without overstocking or creating waste. Demand Forecasting: Support data-driven forecasting processes, helping the team to predict customer needs and respond to market trends. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with suppliers, production teams, and logistics to ensure seamless coordination and quick response to any supply challenges. Problem-Solving for Product Flow: Help troubleshoot any disruptions in the supply chain, focusing on maintaining continuous product supply to supermarket customers.

Training:

You will attend Sheffield Hallam University on a series of short study blocks.
