Volvo Trucks has always recognised the value that apprenticeships can bring to the business and each year, they have more than 300 people go through their apprentice scheme and go on to progress further within the company.

What You'll Do:
On starting your Apprenticeship, you will be provided with full equipment which includes all the tools to help you become a technician. You will work with qualified and experienced Technicians learning how to repair, service, MOT and maintain modern trucks, buses and coaches including hybrid technology… and so much more to learn.
Training:
Training is delivered in the workplace and on block release to Remit’s Automotive Academy in Derby. There are a total of 16 x 1 week blocks over the 32 month programme. The costs of hotel accommodation, food and travel are met by the employer and there will be no cost to you.
You will also receive 1-2-1 support from your Development Coach to help you achieve:

Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Working week: Monday to Friday, 08.30 to 16.30.
