Commis Chef Apprenticeship
Prepare menus in collaboration with the managers and owners
Put effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
To ensure that customers are given a prompt and efficient service, and that expectations are consistently exceeded
Follow strict health and hygiene standards
To be a team player, assisting other team members when necessary
To gain an understanding of food costing. To ensure stock, deliveries and wastage are all checked and recorded in line with the company and food standards
To take responsibility for contributing towards your own development with the guidance of the owners and attend training courses as identified
To show commitment to company values in all aspects of the role
To act as a positive ambassador for the business
Training:
Level 2 qualification
The training will take place once a week at Brockenhurst College (Lyndhurst Road, Brockenhurst, SO42 7ZE)
The training will be 6 hours one day a week
Training Outcome:
Room for growth within the company as there are three sites.
Employer Description:
The Paddle is an independent cafe, bar and eatery. They serve an innovative selection of brunch and lunch dishes, all made from scratch, including homemade brioche, jams, sauces and much more! They also hold monthly supper clubs.
Working Hours :
4 days a week varying shifts between the hours of 7-5pm.
